I do not travel anywhere without my EC. I use one of the large folders to take my memory foam pillow. The folder helps me compress it and it usually thinner than a packed folder. I can easily put it in my carry-on bag along with my pack-it cubes. I use color coded folders so I can easily tell which is HIS and which is HERS. The double side cubes lets me put clean clothes in the mesh side and the dirty in the waterproofed side. I used a small pouch to set up a traveling first aid kit - my daughter (and fellow students) used it during a summer study abroad. I love the cubes and pouches for organizing hair fasteners, electronics and their cords, on the go craft projects. I first learned of the packing system from a former flight attendant who worked at The Container Store - and have been using them ever since. I recently added the suit/garment folder. Used it for a formal dress and suit for a wedding on a cruise - put in the carry on (it was full) and just hung it up - no ironing needed. My only complaint - since everything is so compact it's easy to go over the 50 lb luggage limit - I always have to weigh my bag before heading to the airport!

I am an Orthodox priest who travels weekly from parish to parish. I first saw the Eagle Creek folder being used by one of our deacons to transport his vestments to and from church. I was impressed by the ease, size and versatility of the folder, and decided to try one out for myself. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I am able to fit a well folded, complete set of Russian high-backed style vestments into the 20” folder, with room remaining for a couple of service books and my outer cassock. For Greek style vestments, I can easily get away with the 18' size. I am absolutely sold on these folders - no more bulky suitcases, or dropped items in the parking lot while going from my car to the church. I have actually purchased several now in different colors, and have color-coordinated them to match the color of the vestments that each contains. Love, love, love this folder. I have been using ziplock bags for most items in my suitcase. Purchased on of these and was amazed at the number of items I could pack in it - It also fit into my carry on and everything was unpacked without wrinkles. I am now going to purchase another one for my husbands carry on.

GREAT PRODUCT! I recently switched from the 'old school' suit carrier luggage to the slimmer rollerboard style using this device and now have more room than before, plus my shirts look perfect when I arrive. It also works great as a divider to separate dirty clothes from clean ones for the return trip. Highly recommended!

Because of the new travel restrictions (size & weight of luggage) we were forced into purchasing new wheeled luggage bags. After many internet & in-person local store evaluations of a wide variety of well known brands (including expensive Tumis, etc) we chose 2 Eagle Creeks Tarmac 28s with their appropriate associated Eagle Creek packing solutions. On the basis of our recent trip (for 5 weeks) via United Airlines cross-country one word is more than sufficient to state the performance of our new Eagle Creek luggage: AMAZING!
In more detail: the Tarmac 28's are exceedingly roomy (more so than our previous older large, bulky, heavy but not as efficient Andiamo soft-sided pieces); they are very light in weight; they are very easy to wheel and maneuver. Strategically located hand straps made hand-handling, when necessary, easy and balanced.
The many separate individually zippered compartments (rather than one/two large compartments) were a marvel; they allowed packing to be systematic and items exceedingly easy to find and retrieve. Additionally, using the EC packing solutions further enhanced the ease of packing and finding; although ensconced in one location for the entire trip, it is easy to note that when frequently moving from hotel to hotel, it would be wonderful to pull out those specific folders or cubes/sacs necessary for that specific portion of the trip and leave the rest packed in their respective compartments.
The folders themselves were unbelievable; although skeptical about how well they would compare to our previous specifically-dedicated folding portions of our other luggage, we were simply amazed. Not only did they hold the promised numbers of clothing pieces, but also the clothing came through with nary a wrinkle- and in fact, although we had packed 2 days ahead of our trip (due to time limitations) and some of our clothes were initially slightly wrinkled when putting them into the EC folders, upon unpacking 3 days later we found that even these pieces of clothing were less wrinkled/more pressed while the rest of the clothes also came out perfectly unwrinkled. Rolling underwear, socks, etc into cubes allowed for more efficient and more compact packing also.
The zippers worked well and easily. The wheels rolled effortlessly and controllably, and they were able to stroll bumpy streets and ascend steep steps, curbs and escalators with ease. The luggage itself is very well balanced and further eases movement and control. The handle system is sturdy and reliable.
The protective molded pocket, sole patches, and skid plate protected as promised.
Cosmetically, after the trip, the entire luggage ensemble came through without even a noticeable blemish.
And it is certainly reassuring to be insured by your "No Matter What" Lifetime warranty!
A very significant factor in our purchase of the Tarmacs was our previous excellent experience with other Eagle Creek products: shoulder bags, business bags, and women\'s bags. Additionally, they are excellently and competitively priced, especially for the features, quality, and warranty they offer. They are quite pleasing cosmetically as well.
In short, again, these specific products are functionally AMAZING!

Went overseas, took the 18" and 20" Pack-It Folders. The system makes packing stress free. The 15" and 18" fit in carry on size suitcases. Just came off a 5-day trip to the west coast and all I had was a carry-on roller backpack, which had two 18" folders for shirts/pants. Worth the money.

I have recently traveled several times around the world using the new pack-it folders for shirts. I have never so pleased with one single packing item. My shirts arrive in perfect condition, well pressed (the velcro attachments actually help to keep the shirts tight and well-pressed), and in good order. I was no sure how well this travel pack would work, but it is now a standard item in every travel I take. It not only keeps my shirts clean and pressed, but the med and larger sizes also help to keep the crease in my pants, when I pack them. A perfect travel accessory.

Eagle Creek Pack-it folders have made it possible to fit a week's worth or clothes into the trunk of a 2-seater roadster. The truck space is small and broken up into irregular shaped spaces. The folders can fit into these small spaces and we arrive 2000 miles away with neat folded clothes!

My husband and I used the pack-it folders as we traveled through India - they were great. We only stayed in most places one night so we were living out of our backpacks. It was very convenient to just pull out our pack-it folders to get what we needed to wear each day. We also found that when it came to doing the wash, all our dirty laundry was on top of the folding insert so we didn't have to rummage to find our dirty clothes. We highly recommend the pack-it folders.

My wife is from Dresden, Germany and we live in the Seattle area and make at least one trip a year to visit her family. The first Pack It Folder we used was a gift from my son who is an Army Captain. I travel weekly with my job and am always looking for ways to pack better. I was not familiar with the Folder and did not buy it the first time I saw it at the store. The next time I saw it, I thought I could try it and take it back if I did not like it.
I can't believe how much more room I have and how well my clothes travel, without wrinkles, including suits.
Not only did I buy another one, but I bought one for a friend who also travels each week for her job. She was always complaining about having to iron her clothes on the road, not any more.
I will never travel without the Folder. It is fantastic!! I only wish I had discovered this years ago.

I've used a Pack-It Folder (15-inch size) for the last eight years. When travelling on business trips, I can fit up to a couple of days clothes into it (shirts, second pair of pants, ties, underwear) and put it in my soft-sided briefcase, a carry-on computer bag. Clothes arrive in good shape, everything is organized, and when I go to a meeting, my boxers aren't falling out of my briefcase! Getting settled into a hotel is a breeze -- I just take out the Pack-It folder and toiletries case, and I'm unpacked. The Pack-It Folder has been used lots and still in good shape. After coming back from a two-week vacation where we were in a different hotel every night, I'm thinking of getting a couple of larger ones for personal travel.

I bought a Pack It folder for our vacation with my husband, after my husband used his Pack It Folder for a long business trip and loved it. I am a consultant that is required to travel all over North America. For Christmas I asked for some new luggage. My parents recommended Eagle Creek as they used Eagle Creek to go to New Zealand and back.
So I got my luggage and have been very impressed with all the pockets and the fact it just keeps taking more and more stuff.
But what made me get on the computer and write this review was the fact that when I left home today I put some golf shirts in the Pack-It folder. When I was putting them in I noted that they were very wrinkled and I should iron them before wearing. I did not have time so I figured I would do it at the hotel.
To my surprise when I opened the Pack-It folder at my destination the wrinkles were gone !! I had packed them really nice and tight and the wrinkles have been squeezed out!.. no iron required
Keep up the good work and I will continue to add to my Eagle Creek collection.

The folders do work...the folder keeps your shirts looking crisp. I did not believe the folders could prevent my shirts from wrinkling but I went ahead and bought the item. I travel throughout Latin America on business and I knew I would be traveling to remote cities where the hotels do not have all the amenities so I was afraid I would show up to my meetings with wrinkled shirts so I bought the folder and to my surprise the darn thing worked.I will always use even if I am traveling to the big cities. Great product!

My wife and I have been using the Eagle Creek folders and cubes for 10 years and we love them.They keep our clothes neat and orderly no matter how disorganized the rest of our bags may get.Whenever we clean laundry overseas, we just fold the newly cleaned clothes back into the folders while at the laundromat. We have taken the folders to Europe 3 times,and Central America 6 times(I do medical mission work in Guatemala).The folders also went to Australia and New Zealand this year when Grandma borrowed them to organize her luggage for a senior citizens tour. (She LOVED them , too.) Thanks for the great product- we may just have to buy Grandma her own set of folders now.

I have been using the Pack It Folders for many years now and all 3 sizes are fabulous! Most recently our suitcase was caught in the luggage belt at the airport and the suitcase was destroyed. If our clothes had not been in the Pack It Folders, they too would have been in shreds. The luggage belt not only destroyed the suitcase but 2 of the outer parts of the "Pack Its" were ripped and torn. The plastic inserts were badly bent but saved our clothes!!! I am ordering new ones as replacements as I cannot travel without them!

During my trip, I loved to just pull the Pack-It® Folder out, take a fresh top out and put it back in the bag - it was so much easier to pack than if I had everything loose in the bag. This will come along on my next trip for sure!

We have just returned from a month-long trip that involved moving every night or two. Pack-It® made the difference in our ability to accommodate to rooms that were cramped and limited in storage space. Since we had shirts in one Pack-It®, shorts/slacks in another, and rolled underwear in the Cubes, each Pack-It® functioned like a dresser drawer, and could be transported easily. Wow, what a difference from pawing through a suitcase.
