The Conservation Alliance is a group of outdoor industry companies that disburses its collective annual membership dues to grassroots environmental organizations. They direct funding to community-based campaigns to protect threatened wild habitat, preferably where outdoor enthusiasts recreate.

Friends of the River is California’s river conservation group dedicated to preserving and restoring California's rivers, streams, and watersheds and advocating for sustainable water management. They provide public education, citizen activist training, organizing, and expert advocacy to influence public policy decisions on land, water, and energy management issues.

The North County San Diego Escondido Creek Conservancy is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and protection of the natural open space within the Escondido Creek watershed. The Conservancy supports educational programs and compatible outdoor recreation within the watershed for the benefit of all residents of the area.
