To that end, Eagle Creek has initiated their Cause Marketing program with their first campaign in March, 2014, executed through their eCommerce site. The recipients of this milestone campaign are The Conservation Alliance and Alaska Wilderness League, both of which have been long time partners with Eagle Creek through Eagle Creek’s Live.Work.Travel.™ program. The new Cause Marketing program allows Eagle Creek to increase their participation from volunteer days and industry fund-raisers to national and international visibility and increased monetary support.
“Both the Conservation Alliance and the Alaska Wilderness League are very important partners to us,” said Veronica Cox, Marketing Director at Eagle Creek. “We are very excited to be able to formalize our fundraising program and bring it to the next level, both from an awareness perspective and a contribution perspective. This is our first time implementing an integrated broad based program such as this and we’re looking forward to exploring opportunities and additional non-profit partners.”
For the entire month of March, Eagle Creek donated a percentage from orders on eaglecreek.com to Alaska Wilderness League. As additional support, Eagle Creek ran a Facebook sweepstakes to win a Tarmac AWD 22. For every entry, Eagle Creek donated to Alaska Wilderness League, up to $2000. In total Eagle Creek raised over $9,000 that will go to support the conservation efforts of Alaska Wilderness League.
