- Sweepstakes Entry - On a regular basis Eagle Creek or Clive may run a promotional sweepstakes at retail locations and/or online. In order to award prizes we will ask for contact information including but not limited to: email address, mailing address, and phone number. Because we often have partners who have helped supply the prizes for these sweepstakes, your contact information may be shared with these organizations. You will always be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving any information from Eagle Creek or any of its Sweepstakes affiliates.
- Website Visits - In general on www.eaglecreek.com or www.clivebags.com, IP addresses (the individual address of a computer) are logged to track a user's session while the user remains anonymous. We analyze this data for certain trends and statistics, such as which area of our site users visit and how long they spend there. We do not link your IP address to anything personally identifiable to you. If a service is offered where session information is not anonymous, Eagle Creek or Clive will provide notice of the practice and an opportunity to say "no thanks."
- Product Registration - Our product registration website is operated by an affiliate of Eagle Creek Travel Gear. The privacy statement below is exclusive to this site. We collect personal information about our users only during product registration. We do not use cookie technology to track your movements. We respect your right to privacy. As part of the entry process, we give you the opportunity to decline to receive any communications from other parties to whom we may provide such information. The data we collect is used in the aggregate to give us demographic information about the entire audience registering their products. We use this to understand that audience and to improve our offerings to you, our customers. The personal information you provide - name, address, etc. - allows us to inform you of additional special offers which may be forthcoming, and to send you coupons, or notify you of products and services of our affiliates that relate directly to your specific interests, hobbies or other information you have given. You will always be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving information from Eagle Creek or selected third parties interested in sending coupons, mailings or other special offers.
