We are through month 5 on a year long round-the-world adventure with our 4 kids (ages 10 to 13). We took five Take 2 bags and they are PERFECT. My husband got the ORV 30 and wishes he had a Take 2. It holds all our stuff and the convertible system has been critical to us on multiple occasions; we can leave the wheeled bottom at base locations and take the top of the bags with less gear. Only one improvement: make the zipper that connects the two bags stronger.

After years of searching, my husband and I have found the perfect travel/sail bag in the Take 2. We pack one part for the land journey and the other for the sail. With limited storage on board, we leave the land half at the marina and take the soft collapsible upper portion on the boat. It is well made and withstands all the airlines and the marinas can throw at it. Thanks Eagle Creek.

Finally! In my search for the ulitimate travel companion - i've found it with the Take 2 ORV Trunk 28. After years of lugging around bags that don't quite fit the practicality criteria and allow you too pack way over the baggage allowances in most countries, this little gem is the perfect solution to anyones travel woes when it comes to ease of travel. First the 2 separate bags are a perfect way to organize your trip and keep clothes, shoes and valuable safe and protected - especially if you use it with the EC packing cubes. You'll find that you can pack everything you need for an extended trip without going over your luggage allowance. The wheel design makes it perfect for sliding along waiting in those long check in lines and requires nearly no effort at all - you can literally slide it along with your foot in the upright position. And when it comes to stowing your bag once unpacked, you'll find that the top bag fits snuggly inside the under bag so you can condense the space and even slide it under your bed! Great zips and materials make this little beauty a must for the seasoned traveller. Well done Eagle Creek - finally somebody got it right!

This bag, I should say, these bags, were an invaluable part of my recent trip. Although it was no more than a weeklong trip to visit family and attend two weddings, I found all these features perfect for my style of traveling: the organizational compartments (even my laptop was protected), the zip off top bag (perfect for the three days we spent on an island), the durable wheels and handles, the mesh netting that I used to separate shoes from clothing (with easy access to them, I could change according to the weather) - and especially the fact that when it was standing upright fully packed, it did not tip over forward like most bags do! I love this bag. I will never look back.

This bag is a leader favorite in Backroads, and for good reason. It is durable, functional, and a great colour (not too flashy but makes it easily identifiable). I like the 2 separate bags - and the 3 compartments in the top part. When I arrive to a hotel, I separate the bags and I therefore have 4 shallow compartments. I can SEE everything, and therefore don't have the clothing explosion in the room. I only ever use it as one unit, and most other people I know who have it do the same. Two reasons for me: 1) I would prefer wheels or backpack straps to a shoulder strap on the top bag, and 2) neither can fit as carry-on. If you could fix that... ding, ding, ding!

This bag is awesome. Coming from person who has only used backpacks up til now, I never knew the ease of a bag like this. First I was apprehensive because when I think of rolling bags I immediately think of working stiffs running around the airport. But, after I got to handle one and then try it on a recent trip, I appreciate its versatility as a wheelie or a duffle. Really durable, easy to organize and masculine, this is not my parents luggage.
