I have been using Eagle Creek products for 15 years now. One of my favorite travel packs that visited 14 countries with me started falling apart a couple years ago. I didn't want to lose the bag so I hung on to it until this summer, when I finally contacted Eagle Creek to see about getting it repaired. Though they no longer make the travel pack I sent them, they were quick to replace it with a comparable and updated model (The Take 2 Orv Trunk) free of charge!

Though many companies say their products are covered I have had few positive experiences with these companies actually standing behind their product and their customers. Eagle Creek is entirely different. This was the most amazing and unexpected customer service experience I have ever had. Thank you Eagle Creek for standing behind your gear and me. You've got a loyal customer for life!!

This bag has gone everywhere, from an overnight stay (where many an outfit change was required - shoes are the death of any packing light intentions) to a three-week trip to Europe or Asia. Just returned from a one week trip to Spain and decided to take another piece of luggage. That was a total mistake. With every flight of stairs and every necessary taxi trip just to get the suitcase to the train station or airport, I longed for the ease and versatility of my switchback 22. You don't know what you're missing till you have to do without, and this latest trip without has made me realize that the switchback 22 isn't just a superior piece of luggage, it's a superior piece of travel sanity. I did have another Eagle Creek product with me on this trip to Spain (the ORV Take 2) but its largess made things difficult for navigating. I will say it held up extremely well for all of the abuse it took and being able to zip off the gear bag allowed me to store this in the overhead luggage areas on trains, rather than the end of the aisle and out of sight. Amazing bag - just much more bag than i needed for this particular journey. I much prefer the versatility of the smaller Switchback 22. Another note on quality: since I have rarely had to check the 22 (I think twice
out of two dozen or so airline trips) it is in fantastic shape. The ORV Take 2 looked like it had been dragged on asphalt, tarred and feathered, after just the one trip. I wiped off all the debris and dirt, and aside from some scratches, it's good as new. I will never buy any other luggage than Eagle Creek!
