I bought this trunk because it has 6 grab handles, making it much easier for me to snag it from the baggage conveyor belt, no matter which way it lands on the belt. *Note: This is the only bag of any luggage brand I was able to find that has a total of 6 handles on 5 of its 6 sides. Bravo, Eagle Creek! You actually design your luggage with the world traveler in mind!!

Good day, after a lifetime of world travel, a half dozen luggage manufacturers and dozens of suitcases later, I have finally found the travel gear of travel gear. I purchased my first piece of Eagle Creek gear (OVR Trunk 30) last year and purchased 3 more this year for the family. We just finished a 16 day trek in the jungles of Costa Rica where our gear was put to the ultimate test.
We had traveled to the remote rain forest of Southern Costa Rica, more specifically, the Osa Peninsula. After traveling down river for several hours, we then trekked inland through the jungle on foot for over a kilometer. Across a beach, up and down mud trails, over creeks and up a mountainside to our final destination. A small bungalow overlooking the impressive Drake Bay. All this with our ORV Trunk 30's in tow.
During our stay in this remote location, large Capuchin Monkeys had forced their way into our bungalow and rummaged through our belongings. Throwing and tearing anything that was within their reach. When they reached our ORV that contained food, they bite, gnawed, and clawed at our travel gear. There were long tooth punctures on the handles, near the zipper and throughout the trunk. Dismayed that they had ruined our new gear, we were elated to discover that by just pulling and stretching the fabric, all the puncture wounds just "magically" disappeared and that there is no noticeable damage to our gear. In an ever growing world of inferior product manufacturing, your gear excels.
Your product is just amazing and we could not be any happier! We wanted to share our story and gratitude with Eagle Creek. Thank you, The Lee's.

This bag is HUGE, BUT, it is the perfect travel companion if you have lots of gear. This bag has been with me for approx. 75,000 miles. South America, Caribbean, as well all over the US. It travels with you like a medium sized bag. I have "dragged" this bag through every airport and checked it at ALL. No damage as of yet. If you travel for long periods, this bag is perfect. Holds everything that you can imagine. My co-workers think I'm crazy for spending "SO" much for a bag. But the way I sea it, it's a one time investment. ALL my co-workers have the cheesy square black roller luggage, and they are all damaged. Mine is well used, and is still in great shape. My gear is always safe and secure inside. Thanks so much Eagle Creek for building something that lasts.

My ORV 30 is 3 years old and just hit the 1,000,000 mile mark. It has a few bruises and bangs, but works perfectly. I am traveling internationally, and it often weighs in at 80-90lbs with all of my gear. Even with the extra stress and strain, it has held up perfectly. The compression straps are indestructible and hold all of my things in place. I am purchasing another one in black. My palm colored bag ended up black over the years. Well worth the money!

I had found the perfect travel duals, the Take 2 ORV Trunk 28 and the Switchback Max 22 carry on luggage. I had been traveling into Asia for business and Vacation at Central America for many years, I had purchased many other brands of luggage, and none of them can compare the Eagle Creek brand luggage for durability and guarantee coverage. My previous luggage had never lasted more than three trips of airline abuse, and the manufacture had rejected the warranty claim for non-manufacture failure- damaged cause by airline carriers. Five year ago, I had purchased an Eagle Creek ORV Trunk 30, because my old luggage had split apart in Miami International airport. I am still using the ORV Trunk, some sign of wear and tear and a small hole had punch through the backing material, but still working perfectly. Recently, my wife and I took a cruise to Mexico on the west coast. The Take 2 ORV Trunk 28 provided the storage for our clothing on the upper compartment and the sport gear and shoes were pack in the lower compartment. We both use the latest Eagle Creek product the “Complete Pack-it Organizer which I used to pack my underwear, socks, 2 change of clothing, with room to spare for other things. This little unit can pack into my carry on luggage, the Switchback Max 22, with room still available for a light jacket, accessories, and the detached-able daypack for my computer, camera, travel documents and other items. I am very please with the performance of the luggage. Most recently, my wife used the Complete Pack-it Organizer for a 3-day weekend trip and was able to pack all her clothing for the weekend in this compact unit. I love when she packs light! Definitely the Eagle Creek brands beats it all the competition in design, portability and durability.

This is a terrific bag. It handles well and packs all I need for overseas trips. I got the Protech Cube for the front pocket and it's a perfect place to carry all my adapters, battery chargers, etc. They stay safe and well protected. I highly recommend this bag and packing accessories.

- Baghdad, Iraq,
I bought the ORV Trunk 30 for my assignment in Iraq. It has been dragged through sand, mud, gravel, and occasionally, pavement. It's been tossed in the back of cars, trucks, armored vehicles, helicopters, and C-130s.
The big wheels let it roll easily, especially on rough or uneven surfaces. The zippers zip as well as new. Most dirt and mud brushes right off. It doesn't leak, rip, tear, scuff, or anything else bad. It does carry a massive amount of stuff, keeps it dry and clean, protects it, and has handles so it can be picked up in any direction. It's even been shot at, but not hit!
After 44+ years traveling around the world, I have finally found the perfect piece of luggage. Thank you, Eagle Creek!

Have hauled this fantastic bag around the world including down pot-holed city streets in St Petersburg, Moscow and Irkutsk, Russia and several cities in China. It has taken everything I can throw at hit, drag it through, stuff it under, haul it across. It is simply the best bag I've ever owned.

These products are great! The Cubes and Shoe Sacs have helped me organize quite a bit. I love the ORV Trunk. I forget which size I got but once packed, I usually can get it under the 50lb airline weight limit. It is very rugged and has taken quite a beating. Thanks for such great products!

If ever there was a bags created for a family with 2 kids, it is the Super trunk 36 ORV. I love the organization on the inside and the amount of pockets on the outside help us keep the kids stuff all contained. Not to mention it is built like a MACK truck and withstood more pounding than Oscar De La Hoya.

Travel IS my life. I bought an ORV Trunk for myself when I was looking for luggage for my daughter. The airlines had already "blown up" two of my bags so I was looking for something a little more indestructible. I liked it so much that I bought one for my wife before we went to Europe. Luckily I did that, because when I had to send my bag in for the FREE warranty service, I had her bag to use. Love the bags! (If you had larger bags in PINK, I could probably get my daughter to use one!)

Great bag for SCUBA equipment. It is lighter than any other we found giving us enough room for all our dive gear and accessories. We have two, one each, and have been using them for two years. The "boot bag" is great for wet gear if you have to travel between dive locations. They have been to the Caribbean 6 times and Micronesia once and are a pleasure to handle in the airport or on various land travel.
Great product.

I travel for a living, covering all of the Americas (North, South and Central) along with the Caribbean Islands. Most of the place I go are off the beaten path.
Last year I was on the road for about 85 to 90% of the time. When I first started traveling 5 years ago I would just buy cheaper lugage, which would last me 1 or 2 months (if I was lucky). Finally about 2 years ago I finally got smart and purchased my Eagle Creek ORV Super Truck and Switch back. The thing that sold me was the NO MATTER WHAT damage repair policy. After dragging my bags all over Brazil, Argintina, Trinadad, Mexico, Canada and just about every state in the union it was looking like I was never going to need the damage repair policy.
However between South America buses and airlines all over the Americas they finally took managed to damage my Super Trunk (but it took them 19 months v.s. 1 or 2 months).
I contacted Eagle Creek explained what type of bag I had and that it was damaged, they didn't ask how or anything. They just gave me the information need to send the bag in, 1 1/2 weeks later I received a replacement.
Traveling the way I do, I can easily say that my Eagle Creek bags are the best investment I've made in the last 2 years.
THANKS for such a great product!!

My original Samsonite finally failed and I chose this bag. After getting used to some packing adjustments due to different dimensions, I've put this bag through its paces. After approximately 50+ plane flights and several thousand miles it has functioned perfectly. I highly recommend this bag!

I lived out of two of these bags for a year in southern Africa. They held up to daily zipping/unzipping, travel in the back of pickup trucks, travel in public transport, and one was tied to the roof of a bus for a ten hour ride. When packed, they were used as chairs, footstools, and a kitchen table. I continue to use them on return trips to South Africa, and every time is a pleasure. Airport employees and customs officials have complimented me on my bags! I recommend them to anyone engaged in long-term travel.

I'm a seasoned world traveler and upgraded from a Load Warrior LT 30 to an ORV Trunk this year for the increased durability, ruggedness, and capacity, in addition to the "No Matter What" warranty. So far, my ORV Trunk has been through a rainy trip to Ireland in February, a week in Barcelona in May, and my honeymoon to St. Lucia in July, and I can hardly tell it's been used at all! Once again, kudos to Eagle Creek!

My Eagle Creek bags are invaluable. Thank you for making them. I live and work in Central Africa and often travel. I've been able to count on my bags over and over again. They shine for their durability and capacity. They are rugged and lightweight, which counts considering needed provisions and strict baggage allowances. I've been in UN air terminals and people from all over stop and say, "that's a nice bag".

I can pack so much stuff in it and still roll smootly. I had once 110lbs in it, no problem! The materials used are the best in the industry and the warranty as well! Highly recommended!

I am in the military and travel often for business and vacation. I love the ORV Trunk and the ORV Super Trunk! I recently bought 3 pieces; 2 Trunks and 1 Super Trunk. They are lightweight, ergonomic, and can hold a lot of stuff in a very organized fashion. So far, I have only used them during a trip to Japan and was very impressed, but I am looking forward to using their convenience in a future "desert" trip.

This is simply the best piece of luggage I've ever owned. In my job (I'm in the travel industry) travel is a huge part of the experience. My ORV trunk has been to China twice, Brazil, Canada, all over the US and even Greenland. Numerous baggage handlers all over the globe have done their worst to it over the past 2 years and it just continues to do its job. I keep wondering when I'll need to replace it. While it is very dirty now after all the travel, it is still in fabulous shape. The wheels still are in excellent working shape, the handle had no problems, it pulls up easily, the fabric is untorn, all the buckles still work, the zipper is bomb-proof. Nice work, Eagle Creek- you really know how to make a bag. -Shannon Stowell, President, Adventure Travel Trade Association-

I love my trunk! I took it to Europe just a couple months ago. It was my only piece of luggage, aside from an Eagle Creek Cargo Duffel folded up inside, and I was gone for more than a week! I've owned many Eagle Creek products over the years, and I always recommend them to people. I just sent my parents to D.C. and Detroit for a week, and both of them packed their stuff in one trunk! This piece of luggage is amazing! The only thing I regret is not being able to afford the Super Trunk! Thanks for years of great travel gear!

This is the best piece of luggage I have ever used! It is tough, extremely easy to roll on any terrain, holds lots of stuff, and has a very solid construction, meaning it will never fall apart no matter what the abuse!

I travel extensively to Europe and Asia and this bag has been been a loyal companion. It holds the perfect amount for a week or longer without tipping the scales over 50 lbs. I love the organizational pockets and compression straps. I'd give it an A+.

Why is this your favorite product?
The size is extremely versatile and the piece is incredibly durable. One of my favorite features is the lightweight mesh divider in the main compartment because you can organize your gear, and evenly distribute the weight of the load with it. It also works great for organizing multiple people's personal items if you are packing more than one person in this trunk.
