I took two EC duffel bags on my expedition from Cairo to Sudan. 28 days of camping in a different location each night so required a lot of packing/unpacking/throwing the duffel on a truck, shoving it in a locker etc. It held up remarkably well! Most sturdy duffel bag ever!
I used two brands of compression sacks. EC and another brand. The no name brand failed 2 weeks into the trip but EC sacks prevailed. Only downside is it became harder to close over time. I think the sacks stretched eventually and made it difficult to line up the parts that seal it.
Cheers
